I had the privilege of playing at the league recently and really had a great time, especially seeing some old faces i hadn't seen in a while. Since moving to Florida, i have kept up with your progress on the land and building. What a great job everyone has done.
The Marine Corp League has given the Lynchburg Area musicians great place to play their music for ten years and paid them fairly. I felt it was an honor that you offered me the opportunity to play there on any return visit. I will accept and call before i return on one condition. I wish to donate my time to the MCL and I challenge all other entertainers who have had the opportunity to be paid to play at the League to offer at least one night of their time to help build a place that we can continue to enjoy playing at. Again, thanks for about ten years of opportunities to attenpt to entertain.

Sincerely
Jim Elder

The site looks great! It was wonderful for us to see pictures of all of you even if some of the activities look...how shall we say...questionable in nature! Rest assured the Marine Corps League and all of it's members are the source of many fond memories for the Quehl's!

Great site. Thanks to all involved in making this a success, especially Gary Conner, web designer; Talon Buccola, my daughter, for the late hours she and Gary put into this, Steve Bozeman, for getting the ball rolling; Vaden Lee, for his help and doing the initial work and all the others to come that will put help with the site. I know Terry Jamerson will enjoy getting old & new pictures of the league and our members on this site and all the other great news to come.
